New Telephone System

  • Abbey Road Surgery are moving to Online Triage from Tuesday 1 July 2025
  • Our telephone lines are close at 1pm and reopens again at 2.30pm, Monday to Friday. The surgery is still open, you can come to the surgery for any query. If you have a life-threatening medical emergency that requires an ambulance, please hang up and call 999 immediately
  • Did you know you can contact us for medical and administrative help online: Get help online
  • You can avoid waiting in the queue with our new telephone system, press 1 at any time when in the queue, you will keep your queue position and we will call you back. Please do not press this option more than once until we have called your back.
  • Repeat Prescription: The easiest way to order repeat prescription is using the the NHS account (through the NHS website or in the NHS App)

Prescription synchronisation

Use this service to synchronise your repeat prescriptions so that you can order them all at the same time.

The next time you need to get a repeat prescription, count up the tablets you have left and fill in the form. Your doctor will issue a one off prescription of the tablets you need to synchronise all your prescription to within 1 or 2 days.

You can use this service if you:

  • are registered at the surgery
  • order more than 1 repeat prescription at different times in the month

Before you start

We’ll ask you for:

  • your first and last name, date of birth, sex, postcode, email and phone number
  • if applicable, the details of the person you are completing the form on behalf of
