New Telephone System

  • Abbey Road Surgery are moving to Online Triage from Tuesday 1 July 2025
  • Our telephone lines are close at 1pm and reopens again at 2.30pm, Monday to Friday. The surgery is still open, you can come to the surgery for any query. If you have a life-threatening medical emergency that requires an ambulance, please hang up and call 999 immediately
  • Did you know you can contact us for medical and administrative help online: Get help online
  • You can avoid waiting in the queue with our new telephone system, press 1 at any time when in the queue, you will keep your queue position and we will call you back. Please do not press this option more than once until we have called your back.
  • Repeat Prescription: The easiest way to order repeat prescription is using the the NHS account (through the NHS website or in the NHS App)

    Improve your mobility, reduce aches and pains and increase your self-confidence with a new wellbeing programme for older people, anyone with mobility problems, carers and more.
    These friendly sessions combine gentle exercise and movement with time to socialise over tea. Sessions held in Hoddesdon, Wormley and Waltham Cross.

  • Healthy Memory Café

    If you, or someone you know, are concerned about memory problems, or you are caring for someone who is, please pop along to the Healthy Memory Café being launched on at The Beaumont from 10:30am to midday.
    Information, advice and support will be offered and it will be a welcoming place to have a chat. This Café Will continue on the last Friday of every month.
